Week: Saturday 10th August 2024– Friday 16th August 2024.

Balearic Shearwater was new for the year – with 2 birds (13th & 14th) – and takes the cumulative year list up to 210.  A couple of scarce species notched up only their second reports of the year with a juvenile Little Ringed Plover at Cemlyn (16th) and a Green Woodpecker (1 or more) near Mynydd Bodafon (11th & 15th).  What appeared to be a northern ‘argentatus’ Herring Gull at Traeth Dulas would be an early record (12th & 14th).
