The last full week of March produced the first Manx Shearwater for the year with 3 birds seen off North Stack (22nd), the first Willow Warblers with birds at Cors Ddyga and Rhoscolyn (26th) and an Osprey photographed over Cors Ddyga (26th). Collectively, they take the cumulative year list to date up to 162.
Up to 2 Snow Buntings were around the Trwyn, Cemlyn (23rd-29th) while 9 Marsh Harriers noted at Cors Ddyga (28th) must be the highest count for a single site on the island.
