·        5 on the Afon Cefni at the south end of the Cors Ddyga reserve (14th)

Common Scoter

·        Up to 15 past The Range, Holyhead (15 during 2hr seawatch on 16th, 1 during 3hr seawatch on 15th).

·        2 at the Alaw estuary (14th)

·        8 at the Alaw estuary (14th)

Grey Plover

·        1 at the Alaw estuary (14th)

·        Up to 9 at the Alaw estuary ( 9 on 18th, 5 on 14th)

·        3 off The Range during a 2hr seawatch (19th)

Manx Shearwater

·        Up to 1227 past The Range, Holyhead (1227 during 3hr seawatch on 15th, 463 on 19th - 2hrs, 120 - 2hrs on 16th).

Gannet

·        Up to 46 past The Range, Holyhead (46 during 2hr seawatch on 16th, 27 on 15th   – 3hr, 17 on 19th – 2hr).

Fulmar

·          Up to 26 past The Range, Holyhead (26 during 3hr seawatch on 15th, 11 on 19th -2hrs, 4 on 16th – 2hr).

Kittiwake

·          Up to 151 past The Range, Holyhead (151 during 2hr seawatch on 16th, 111 on 15th – 3hr, 49 on 19th – 2hr).

·        3 at the south end of the Cors Ddyga reserve (14th)

·        5 at the south end of the Cors Ddyga reserve (14th)

·        10 along nature trail route at north end of Cors Ddyga (16th)

·        1 singing on reed bordered lake to east of Mynydd Parys (14th)

Sedge Warbler

·        6 at the south end of the Cors Ddyga reserve (14th)

Cetti’s Warbler

·        3 at the south end of the Cors Ddyga reserve (14th)

·        1 at Llyn Maelog (16th)

·        10 on a walk from the nature trail at Cors Ddyga (16th)

Whinchat

·        Female at Rhoscolyn (13th)

·        9 over the south end of the Cors Ddyga reserve (14th)

·        1 at Cestyll gardens near Cemlyn (13th)

·        1 at Octel, Amlwch Port (14th)

·        1 at Tyn Llan fields, Cemlyn (18th-19th) was considered a flava x thunbergi intergrade

·        Up to 2 at Cors Ddyga (2 on 14th, 1 on 15th)

·        1 at the Alaw estuary (15th)

Osprey

·        1 circling over the sea off Benllech (14th)

·        1 over Cemlyn (15th)

Hobby

·        1 at Cors Ddyga (17th)

Herons, Egrets & allies:

Great Bittern

·        2 males ‘booming’ at the south end of the Cors Ddyga reserve (14th).

·        Several sightings of birds in flight at Valley wetlands RSPB (17th-18th)

Great Egret

·        1 at the south end of the Cors Ddyga reserve (14th)
