Week: Saturday 7th September 2024– Friday 13th September 2024.

Four new additions to the 2024 Anglesey year list - Dartford Warbler (8th, 10th & 13th), Sooty Shearwater (11th), Leach’s Petrel (12th) and Spoonbill (13th) that takes the year-to-date total up to 219.  24 species of wader was noteworthy, but for many it was the seabird spectacular that was the highlight.

Pale-bellied Brent Goose

·       1 flew past Amlwch Port (9th).

·       1 at Red Wharf Bay (9th).

·       11 at Beddmanarch Bay (9th).

·       6 flew past Point Lynas and presumably the same were seen flying past Octel, Amlwch Port and Bull Bay (11th).
