The week produced 3 year ticks in the form of Green Woodpecker (2nd), Tree Sparrow (2nd) and Avocet (3rd) – which takes the cumulative year list up to 165.
Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler and Blackcap are all
back in good numbers, while Puffins were seen at both South Stack and off
Puffin Island. There has been a
noticeable reduction in the number of winter wildfowl.
