Red-throated Pipit is a new species for Anglesey (subject to acceptance of the record by the British Birds Rarity Committee), while the Wryneck at Rhoscolyn was the first since 2016.

Pale-bellied Brent Goose

·        258 at the Alaw estuary (4th).

Garganey

·        Up to 2 juvenile / female at Cors Ddyga RSPB (2 on 3rd, 1 from 1st-2nd).

Mandarin

·        Drake at Cors Ddyga RSPB (2nd-3rd)

Tufted Duck

·        23 at Cefni reservoir (3rd).

Coot

·        64 at Llyn Llywenan (2nd).

·        147 at the Cefni reservoir (3rd).

Eider

·        Female / juvenile at Beddmanarch Bay (30th).

Common Scoter

·        c. 40 off Traeth Benllech (1st).

·        15 past Point Lynas (3rd).

·        1 at Cors Ddyga (30th – 5th).

Grey Phalarope

·        1 on flooded field to south of Ynys Wen cemetery, Valley (30th – 1st).

Wood Sandpiper

·        1 at Cors Ddyga (30th – 3rd).

Curlew Sandpiper

·        Up to 7 at Cors Ddyga (7 on 1st, 4 on 30th).

·        2 past Point Lynas with 2 Dunlin (3rd).

Green Sandpiper

·        1 at Cors Ddyga (2nd).

Common Sandpiper

·        1 at the Alaw estuary (4th).

·        1 at Salt island, Holyhead harbour (6th).

Purple Sandpiper

·        3 at Penmon Point (3rd).

Turnstone

·        c. 50 at Penmon Point (3rd),

European Golden Plover

·        150+ at Malltraeth (1st).

Grey Plover

·        14 at Malltraeth (1st).

·        1 at the Alaw estuary (4th).

Dunlin

·        3 at the Alaw estuary (4th).

Knot

·        22 at Beddmanarch Bay (2nd).

·        3 at the Cymyram estuary at the Rhoscolyn end (6th).

·        3 on the gorad flood, Valley (30th).

·        Up to 3 at Cors Ddyga (3 on 1st, 1 on 30th).

·        13 at the Alaw estuary (4th).

·        1 at Valley doors (5th).

Redshank

·        90 in high tide roost near Penmon priory (3rd).

·        17 at the Alaw estuary (4th).

·         15 in high tide roost near Penmon priory (3rd).

Water Rail

·         1 heard at Malltraeth (1st).
