There were 7 new additions to the 2023 Anglesey year list which included Avocet (3rd), Tree Pipit (3rd), Hoopoe (4th), Spoonbill (6th), Grasshopper Warbler (7th), Little Ringed Plover (7th) and Sedge Warbler (7th). There was a 2nd record of Iceland Gull for this spring (7th), while the long-staying female Ring-necked Duck continued at Llyn Cefni (1st-6th). The cumulative year list for 2023 is up to 174 – it was at 166 at the 8th April 2022.
