Two new additions to the year list with a female Mandarin Duck around RSPB Valley Wetlands and belated confirmation of breeding Long-eared Owl at a site in the NW of the island. Cumulative year list to date increases to 208.

	Dunlin	· 27 at the Alaw estuary (23^rd).
	Turnstone	· 14 at Moel y Don (22^nd). · 18 on rocks off the Trwyn, Cemlyn (23^rd).
	Ringed Plover	· 8 at the Alaw estuary (24^th).
	Lapwing	· Up to 15 at the Alaw estuary (15 on 25^th, 3 on 26^th).
	Greenshank	· 1 at Cemlyn (21^st). · 14 at the Alaw estuary (14 on 23^rd, 6 on 26^th). · 2 at Traeth Dulas (24^th).
	Redshank	· 4 at Moel y Don (22^nd). · Up to 14 at the Alaw estuary (14 on 26^th, 6 on 23^rd).
	Bar-tailed Godwit	· 3 at Beddmanarch Bay (24^th).
	Black-tailed Godwit	· 5 at Malltraeth cob pool (25^th).
	Whimbrel	· 1 at Moel y Don (21^st). · 1 at the headland, Silver Bay, Rhoscolyn (21^st). · 3 at Beddmanarch Bay (24^th) · 1 at the Alaw estuary (24^th). · 2 at Traeth Dulas (24^th).
	Curlew	· Up to 213 at the Alaw estuary (213 on 26^th, 180 on 25^th, 122 on 23^rd). · 166 at Beddmanarch Bay (24^th). · 150+ at Traeth Dulas (24^th).
	Oystercatcher	· Up to 392 at the Alaw estuary (392 on 25^th, 217 on 23^rd, 208 on 26^th, 135 on 24^th).
*Seabirds & gulls:*	Roseate Tern	· Up to 2 at Cemlyn (2 on 21^st, 1 on 25^th 7 26^th).
	Little Gull	· Juvenile at Malltraeth (26^th).
	Mediterranean Gull	· 3 adults at Beddmanarch Bay (24^th).
	Puffin	· 2 on the sea at South Stack (24^th).
	Black Guillemot	· 3 off Benllech seafront (20^th). · 12 at Fedw Fawr (23^rd).

*Raptors:*	Long-eared Owl	· Juveniles heard calling at a site in the NW of the island throughout early June, with adult seen on the 12^th June.
	Osprey	· 1 at the Cefni estuary, viewed from the Malltraeth cob (25^th).
	Red Kite	· 1 at Presaddfed (24^th).
*Herons, Egrets & allies:*	Great Egret	· 1 at Cors Ddyga (21^st). · 1 at the Alaw estuary (24^th).

	Eurasian Teal	· 5 at the Alaw estuary (13^th) – 1^st returning birds of the autumn.
	Eider	· 4 off Benllech seafront – female and 3 juveniles (18^th).
*Waders:*	Common Sandpiper	· Up to 5 at the Alaw estuary (5 on 13^th, 4 on 15^th & 17^th). · 1 at Traeth Dulas (17^th). · 4 at the Afon Cefni, Malltraeth (18^th).
	Sanderling	· 1 at Rhosneigr (16^th).
	Dunlin	· 17 at Malltraeth cob pool (18^th).
	Greenshank	· Up to 20 at the Alaw estuary (20 on 17^th, 12 on 13^th & 15^th). · 4 at the Afon Cefni, Malltraeth (18^th).
